Sniper tax

An extra fee on buys in the first seconds after a launch, so bots can't grab a coin before people can.

Bots try to buy a new coin in the very first second, before any person can react, and then sell it to everyone else. The sniper tax makes that expensive.

Extra fee on a buy, by seconds since the launch transaction. From second 10 on it is gone, for good.

How it works

  • It counts from the launch transaction. At second 0 a buy pays 99% on top of the normal fees. Halfway through, about half that. From second 10 on, nothing.
  • It goes to the platform, not to the creator, so a creator can't profit from snipers.
  • The creator's own first buy, made inside the launch transaction, pays no sniper tax.
  • Each coin keeps the sniper settings it was launched with.

Just wait a few seconds

The trade panel shows the sniper tax right now, with a warning while it's on. Waiting 10 seconds brings it to 0%.

Try it in the fee calculator: slide Seconds since the coin launched and watch the red part of the bar shrink.
